How to make a simple Joy Christmas Sign

Y’all!!! This is my VERY first diy project in my new house!!!!! I was soooo pumped to do this one and add it to my built in shelves with my Christmas decor! It turned out EVEN CUTER than I had hoped, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you!

Here is what you need for this project:

Mini wreath (any kind will work…mine is from Walmart. They came in a pack of 4)
Wood slice
Letters J and Y. My J came from Walmart for .98 and the Y came from Hobby Lobby for around $1.00.
1 5×7 flat canvas from the Dollar Tree
Fabric or scrapbook paper of your choosing
Sign from Hobby Lobby in the wood supply section! Use your 40% off coupon!
Hot glue gun
Scissors
Mod Podge

This project is super easy!

Literally all you do is start putting the pieces together and gluing them to your sign!

First, I took my canvas and mod podged the fabric to the top. You can see how to do this HERE.

Once that was on good and dry…I hot glued my letter J to the top!

I then hot glued my letter Y directly onto my wood slice!

Once I had all of that together, I hot glued each part of the sign onto my wood sign!

Ta-Da! ALL DONE!!!!!!

How stinkin’ CUUUUUUTE is this JOY sign!?!?!??!!??!!?

My middle name is Joy! So is my daughter and one of my granddaughters! I try to find either and ornament or something else with Joy written on it to give them before Christmas! Your sign turned out so cute!
