It's almost like upcyling is in my blood. I can't help but look at something old and ran down, and think, "man... that has SO much potential." And when thinking that in my head, my first instinct is to SPRAY PAINT IT!
Spray paint is basically like magic in a can. You can choose any color you want, decide between multiple different finishes, and use it on just about anything... and the outcome always comes out looking like brand new!
Today, I wanted to show you 10 different upcycling projects you can complete with the easy spritz of a spray paint can! **be sure to check out each individual blogger's post to see how their upcycling project process!**
I'll be honest, this post really caught my attention with that aqua blue table set!!! It is crazy to me that you can completely change the look of something with a little bit of paint... and painting wood furniture is something I know a TON of you do! I usually paint wood furniture with regular chalk paint, but I NEED to try out these methods!!
Sorry, let me pick my jaw up off the floor real quick. Can you even BELIEVE this gorgeous golden wreath was made from a BICYCLE TIRE!?!?! How many times to do you stumble across old bikes/old tires at junk stores? For me, it's quite often... so I will for SURE have to pick up a gold can of spray paint, and try this one out!
I could see this going so many ways... buy up all the $.50 plates at your local Goodwill, and paint them whatever colors you like best! I could totally imagine a collage of black and white polka dotted plates with a few aqua plates thrown in there!
I love the look of outdoor furniture, especially when they are BRIGHT and COLORFUL!! I bet you can find an old set of metal furniture on facebook marketplace, hit it with a can of spray paint, and it turn out to be the CUTEST set on the block 😍
This is one of my most favorite crafts on my blog... EVER. It is SOOO simple, and obviously super cheap!!! Just pick up some sticks from your yard, spray paint them your favorite color, pop on some pom poms, and you're good to go!
If you have been a follower of mine for awhile, then you may have noticed that I LOVE to incorporate old books into my decor. They make great pieces to help add height to a vignette, and I honestly just love the look of them. I could totally see myself spray painting a few for myself, and adding stripes and polka dots to them!
I know you see super cute door mats floating around on etsy and other home stores... but what if you just made one yourself?!? This tutorial claims to only take 10 minutes, and you can pretty much design it however you want to!!
