Non-Traditional Fall Fireplace that incorporates lots of styles and textures, as well as a variety of colors! Check out the post to see all of the pictures and details! Totally gorgeous!

Who said Fall had to be orange, yellow and brown? I have to be honest, I used to think that only the traditional fall colors were truly “fall”; therefore, I never decorated much {or at all} because I simply didn’t really go for that style in my home. Things have changed since then. I guess you could say I have really opened my eyes to the non-traditional a lot in the past couple of years, and this fall- I went pretty non traditional! You can read my post about how I found my inspiration for this year, here.

So, as you know- our house is SOLD! We are actually boxing up everything as I type this, and the house looks so bare…except the fireplace. It is really quite funny to see empty walls and boxes everywhere- and then a fireplace dressed to the nines. But, as I have said before, I love my fireplace and will miss it dearly. So, I had to decorate it just one more time!

I hope you like the fun, non traditional look I went for this year!

There is a lot going on, for sure…but I loved the different elements {especially my DIY Fall Sign}, and I just couldn’t bring myself to eliminate anything. In all honesty, I firmly believe that when it comes to decorating, there is no right or wrong way. Do what you love and use pieces that speak to you and make you happy. That is what I did here. I used colors that made me thing of fall- and I used items that brought that theme to mind for me.

The difference in all of the pumpkins gave extra dimension this year, and I love it! Kirkland’s hit it out of the park with their assortment of non-traditional pumpkins this year, as did Hobby Lobby. Those were my go-to places this year!

I loved the punch of fuchsia mixed with the greens, yellows and aquas.

It is amazing what a little spray paint can do for a Dollar Tree pumpkin! This was a simple DIY project that went right along with the rest of my decor!

I know it is not your typical fall fireplace, but I hope you liked it and it made you think a little outside of the box. Sometimes it is more fun that way 🙂

Happy Fall! It is right around the corner!
