how to add color and texture to your mantel

Color and texture. Those are the 2 words that would best describe my home right now as I transition into a style that truly fits the personality of our family.

We have fun. We laugh a lot. We love adventure. It only makes sense that our home reflect those things!

Today, I am showing you my living room mantel. It has been changed a million times over the course of the years since we built our home, but it is the absolute perfect base for any style I ever want to achieve.

Right now, it is funky and colorful and fun and textured…with fun patterns!

It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but that has never mattered to me. As I always say and WILL always say, YOUR HOME needs to reflect YOU!

I hope you enjoyed my mantel! Whether it is your style or not, I bet you can gain some inspiration somewhere to make it your own!

Thanks for stopping by! It would mean the world to me if you stopped by and interacted on my social media!

I love all your styles . Always get inspirations from each post you do. Your statement “YOUR HOME needs to reflect YOU!”
I have a question. How do you install the beads to your mantle?
    You are awesome. Keep shining!!!!

Thank you for sharing beauty and joy. I love your mantel!!! I am wondering what are the dimensions, height, width,
length of your mantel. I am thinking mine is quite wimpy. Thank you for being true to who God fearfully and wonderfully made. Blessings and Shalom. Kimmie

I’m sorry Beverly but I don’t have a link for that vase. There are several cute ones that are similar on Amazon though. ????

[…] I moved my tray out of the way, and began to paint florals on the cross. I always enjoy painting florals, and love to look at photos for inspiration while painting. I actually looked over at this picture on my mantel for inspiration! SEE HERE—> https://www.re-fabbed.com/how-to-add-color-and-texture-to-your-mantel/ […]
