Y’all know I love me some Dollar General. Dollar stores make my heart skip a beat because you never know what you may find for a great deal, especially home decor!
While I was shopping recently, I came across these chalkboards for $6! They were already white distressed and ready to go! I was in heaven!
I held onto it for a little while, not sure what I may do with it, but after my most recent trip to Hobby Lobby, I knew just what I wanted to do!
All of their stickers and embellishments were 50% off, so I grabbed up a few different flowers that I thought would work together nicely! (LOOK AT THAT SELECTION!)
I simply took my amazing cordless glue gun and glued my flowers all over my corner and then put my burlap flowers in the opposite corner. It turned out beautiful…but I felt like something was missing.
I felt like it was lacking something on the bottom…something with a little height!
I had a few extra “twigs” from my lavender spray that I got at Kirkland’s (I did a live on it a couple weeks ago on Facebook- you can check that one out HERE), and I knew they would be PERFECT.
I am thrilled with how cute it turned out!
I simply bunched them together and stuck them down into the flowers and secured with a little hot glue!
Adding a little “HELLO” and this chalkboard is ADORABLE!
