how to make valentine decor using playing cards

I love to use the most mundane, household items and make them into something totally unexpected. Today, I am going to be doing just that with a deck of playing cards! I am making a super cute and incredibly easy Valentine sign using playing cards and a few other items.

Supplies:

Deck of playing cards (these came from Walmart)
piece of scrapbook paper of your choice (mine was from Hobby Lobby)
Frame of your choice
tape

This project speaks for itself, and it can be done in less than 5 minutes. That is MY type of project right there!

First, I took out 4 playing cards that I wanted to display in my frame. I picked the Ace, King, Queen and Jack of hearts.

I then picked a piece of scrapbook paper for my “background”. I am always a fan of black and white. It is just what I love most!

My gold frame that I already had on hand was the perfect match for this project, so I simply taped my cards onto the scrapbook paper and then taped the scrapbook paper into the frame and closed it up.

Ta-da! Ready to display!

How EASY is this?! AND so cute! You can EASILY take this out too and reuse the frame over and over. Winner in my book!

Hang it on a wall or prop it on a shelf, etc… When Valentines is over, use the frame for something else!

Pin for Later!
