how to make a carrot with felt balls

This riser has been patiently waiting in my craft closet for YEARS, and today was finally time for its debut!!! I scored it 80% OFF at Hobby Lobby during a seasonal sale- talk about a steal!

I used the following supplies for this project: (*ref links used)

-Clearance Hobby Lobby riser

-Various ribbon of your choice

–Six orange larger felt balls from Amazon

–Three orange smaller felt balls from Amazon

–Hot Glue Gun

–Dark green raffia from the Re-Fabbed collection

These packs of felt balls last FOREVER, and the craft ideas are endless, y’all! I cannot get enough of them!

I actually did an ENTIRE LIVE VIDEO on this project that you can watch HERE—> https://www.facebook.com/refabbedbybrooke/videos/380331984745986/

First, I started by placing the felt balls in the center of the riser in horizontal rows in the following order: 3 large, 2 large, 2 small, 1 large, and 1 small. The end result should look like an upside down triangle shape to mimic the look of a carrot. Once I got the look I was going for, I started to glue the felt balls to the riser using my FAVORITE HOT GLUE GUN that I designed and is EXCLUSIVE to Re-Fabbed!

The next, and FINAL step is to create the bow using my “Re-Fabbed Bow”, with the addition of some raffia on top! Fun ribbon and raffia is ALWAYS a good idea, if you ask me!!

Check out my Re-Fabbed Bow tutorial RIGHT HERE!

To see the ENTIRE process, be sure to watch the LIVE VIDEO HERE!
