I’ve been seeing the trend of taking a pool noodle, and turning it into a wreath… so, I decided to try my hand at it!! I’m honestly SHOCKED at how cute it turned out, and it was so dang EASY!

Here’s what you’ll need…

  • pool noodle from the Dollar Tree
  • tape (duct tape or painters tape works best)
  • pom pom garland from Walmart
  • black and white stripe ribbon
  • ribbon of your choice to make a bow
  • hot glue gun

The first step was to turn the noodle into a circle. I hot glued the two ends together, then took my tape and secured it even more!

Next, just take whatever ribbon you want (I decided on this black and white striped ribbon)and cover the entire noodle! I hot glued one end onto the noodle, then began wrapping it until it was completely covered. Then, hot glue the other end down!

This pom pom garland from walmart made ALL the difference! It’s less than $3, and the colors make it perfect for Summer!

The garland obviously comes attached with a string holding all the pom poms together. Go ahead and slide them off, so the pom poms are free!

Now, just hot glue them into place! I didn’t go by any sort of pattern or anything- just simply stuck them on where I saw fit!

Here’s what it’s looking like so far… but we aren’t done yet!

I added a little strip of ribbon to use as the hanger as well! Can you BELIEVE this started as a $1 pool noodle?!?! Crazy what a little creativity can do!

PIN THIS FOR LATER!
