diy snowman wood slice sign

I found a pack of 4 snowmen ornaments at Dollar General recently, and I knew that I would eventually make something! Tonight was the night! I am going to show you the cutest little snowman wood slice sign that I put on my tree, and I think you are really going to like it!

I started going through my stash to see what all I could use for my sign, and the first thing I thought I wanted to do was to spell out “let it snow”…because, you know, snowmen…

Then, I came across this large wood round that I had…and decided I would paint it white and put my snowman on it!

In the end, this is what I ended up coming across for this project! The scrabble tiles only spell let it NOW instead of snow, because I couldn’t find an S. LOL….soooo…I would have to find another way to spell snow in the end!

First, I took my craft paint and painted the inner part of my wood slice white!

Then, I decided to change out the twine bow for my red and white bakers twine! I think it just added some extra color! I kept the bell on it, I only took the twine bow off and replaced it.

After the paint had dried, I hot glued the snowman onto the wood slice and then glued the scrabble letters onto the right of the snowman!

I found some gold letter stickers at Target a while back and decided to use them to spell SNOW. I ended up liking it even better than using the scrabble tiles because of the difference in textures!

And THIS is the final product!!! HOW STINKIN’ CUTE IS THAT?!?!?!

I literally just stuck the wood slice in the tree like an ornament! I LOVE IT!

I could even make 3 more for gifts if I wanted to, since it was a pack of 4! And you can add a hanger on the back and hang on the wall too!

Be sure to PIN FOR LATER!
