diy framed gift bag sign

This project is almost TOO easy, but I wanted to share in hopes that it will INSPIRE you to update your decor with items you (might) already have on hand, or can easily grab while you are on your next Dollar General, TJ Maxx or HomeGoods run!

It is so inexpensive and quick to change out too, which quite literally checked ALL the boxes for me!

what you’ll need…

*tap on the bolded items to shop my affiliate links!*

  • 20×20 frame matted to 8×10 (I purchased in a 2pk from HomeGoods)
  • Cute gift bag (I scored mine at TJ Maxx)
  • Re-Fabbed Branded Scissors
  • Scotch Invisible Gift Wrap Tape

First, I simply cut out my gift bag, starting at the top opening of the bag.

If you can use a pair of scissors, you can do this project!

After I cut out the bag, I placed it in my frame and secured it to the mat using a few pieces of scotch tape.

SERIOUSLY… It doesn’t get much easier than this, y’all!

Can we just take a moment to admire it hanging in my dining room??? Be sure to check out my dining room wallpaper details HERE!

I am in LOOOOVE! Did this inspire you to pick up a cute gift bag (or a few) next time you are out and about?!? Be sure to let me know!

Absolutely genius! I do that with greeting cards, too. I love this idea to help update an area needing a little something. You could not have matched it more perfectly. Another great one Brooke!

I saw the perfect gift bag at Dollar Tree yesterday. Will have to go get it. Been looking for something for my kitchen and now I know! Thanks.
