rustic themed christmas tree inspiration

I don’t know about you, but I can appreciate pretty much all Christmas themes, in their own right. While red, white and green are my favorites…and to me- the most CLASSIC…I do also love lots of other styles of decorating for the holiday too! I want to show you a very rustic/neutral theme today that you may not expect in my home.

Let me introduce you to my basement! (Well, just the basement Christmas tree for now…) Down here, it is all about the “natural” and the rustic. My husband is a hunter, so we have lots of different mounts on the wall, and it is kind of his “mancave”.

When you come down the stairs and around the corner, we have a small little hall area and then you walk into the main area. The tree is right as you come into the main area, looking at you as you round the corner.

It is only a smaller 7 foot flocked tree (I wish I remembered where I got it, but I have had it quite some time)…so it isn’t very big, but it turned out beautiful!

I love the nutcrackers on each side! I think they really makes a statement!

And of course, my galvanized train from Decor Steals made its way to the front of the tree, and I think it looks fantastic!

On this tree, I took lots of picks that I had on hand and stuck them up in the tree in lots of areas. It made the tree look VERY full and natural. Berry picks, greenery, lots of random garlands…all of it filled the tree to the brim!

There are also several pinecones and pretty ornaments filling the extra spaces that were left. I just LOVE how it turned out. It is absolutely beautiful!

What is your favorite Christmas theme?!

Be sure to PIN this for later!
