reversible cutting board decor

You may remember my cutting board post where I transformed a Dollar General cutting board with wallpaper.

Well, I mentioned that it could be reversible…and I have flipped it over and transformed the back now, with FABRIC to match more of my “fall” vibe! I LOVE that you can flip it back and forth, just changing out the velcro tape!

To change it up, I simply flipped it over and took the velcro tape off. After that, I traced the board onto my fabric choice. I chose the BLUE!!! (It would tie the blue into my hall right off my kitchen, where I framed this fabric before. You can see that post HERE!

After I traced and cut the fabric to fit the board, I simply mod podged it on! I put mod podge all over the board and then adhered the fabric. Once on, I secured it by rubbing out all the wrinkles. Thicker fabric like this is very easy to work with!

And TA-DA!!!!! How beautiful and easy was that! Quick 5 minute project!

Brooke, I love all of your ideas. I haven’t done
much this summer because of being so busy with family.
Now things are not so busy so will be working at crafting
again. We only have one granddaughter getting married next week so will have more time after that!”

What a fun idea, love that it is reversible. YAY We did that idea on an old porcelain pan lid that had a hole at the “top”. Christmas on one side and Winter/Snow on the other. We used vinyl that we cut. I like that fabric idea though…..had not thought of that. Fabric, paper, tissue and such……….so many beautiful choices!
