Since moving back in our home (see all about that HERE), I have been slowly making changes to make it a little different and more of my current style! I have wanted to change the lighting in my kitchen for a while now, but it was just not a priority…and honestly, I never found something I truly LOVED, until now!!!

This below picture is the BEFORE lights! They are pretty….but they aren’t AMAZING…

LIKE THESE!!!!! Allll the heart eyes!

I knew I wanted something that was “open” to try to create an illusion of my kitchen being a little more open and large than it really is, so when I found these pendants on Amazon, I KNEW they were IT!

They make a huge statement, provide SO much more light, and they just truly open up EVERYTHING!

Brandon hung them and put them together in no time, and I am just completely OBSESSED!

If you want some for yourself, you an GO RIGHT HERE and grab you some! *

I love those lights. I have the old ones you had so I will know what to get now.

We’re getting ready to do a complete kitchen gut job renovations. Our house floor plan is very similar to yours. The difference is my living room faces the kitchen, and if I get open lights it will be distracting if I’m in the kitchen working. I don’t want something too glamorous but I’m over the farmhouse too.
I’m still looking for my amazing lights. You found some great ones.

I don’t know if I like the new lights. I liked the original ones, but I’m not an over-the-top kind of person. Maybe, if the frames, of the new fixtures, were a different color, I would like them more.
Also, to me, they look too big for the space. I guess that I’m old, and not up-to-speed with all the interior decorating styles.

My belief is everyone should do what they like in their home. With that being said I love the old lights, but your home so you do you!!

I like the old ones but that’s just me. I would put them in my kitchen. The new ones are gorgeous but just not my style. That being said, you love them and that’s what matters!
