Is there a spot in your home that’s just begging for a little extra cuteness? That’s the way Kylie felt about this wall in her laundry room! You may think this before is cute, and it is… but just WAIT until you see this AFTER! It is so FUN and fits her style sooo much better!
She spotted this wallpaper on Wayfair, and it was just what she had in mind! The great thing about Wayfair is you can put in your measurements and they will calculate how many rolls you need!
here’s what you’ll need…

- wallpaper kit
- rifle paper co. hydrangea wallpaper
- liquid wallpaper adhesive
- paint brush
- sanding block
- gold spray paint
- sherwin williams pro classic Natural Tan (satin finish)
She purchased these cabinets from Menards about 5 years ago and painted them Dovetail by Sherwin Williams. She loved it, but was ready for a change…
First she lightly sanded them with a sanding block, per the SW paint consultant!
And wiped down her cabinets extremely well!
Isn’t this “Natural Tan” color the perfect creamy white color?!
This paint was a very good quality, and covered great! Because the previous color was so dark, she applied two coats.
Trust the process… drying paint can be scary sometimes LOL
While the paint was drying, she decided to spray the existing handles using her FAVE gold spray paint!
This gorgeous gold color amazes us every single time!
Now time for the FUN part… wallpaper!!!
This wallpaper is the traditional kind, often referred to as paste the wall. She used this wallpaper adhesive from Lowes and this amazon wallpaper kit, and thought it was MUCH easier than peel and stick she has hung in the past!
Cutting around the cabinets and the washer/dryer hookup was not for the faint of heart, but it was SO worth it!!!
Added the spray painted handles back on… this gold compliments this cabinet color sooo well!
How gorgeous is this paper?!? With the floor, cabinets and pops of gold… L O V E ????
She purchased her tile a few years ago from Wayfair, also! It was laid in a Herringbone pattern and she is very happy with how it turned out! I went ahead and linked the tile HERE if you want more details. She said the light grout lines are not easy to clean per se, but she doesn’t regret it one bit!
