I’ve been on a Dollar General ROLL lately, and I’m here for it!!! This $5 arched sign had some water stains, so I was able to snag it for just $2… you know I already had plans to cover it anyway!
here’s what you’ll need…

- dollar general $2 arched sign
- re-fabbed hot glue gun/hot glue
- the best scissors!
- art print (I found in my crafting stash from a few years ago!)
- re-fabbed pen (currently sold out)
Like I mentioned above, this sign had some water spots, but she DEFINITELY still had lots of potential!
I was digging through my craft stash and came across this print. I knew immediately that it was the perfect match! I so wish I could tell you where I got it, but I can’t remember.
First, I traced the arched sign onto the art print.
And cut it out using my FAVE scissors!
I’m sure there was a better way to do this, but I started trimming down the sides until they fit just right inside the sign!
I dabbed a bit of hot glue using the best hot glue gun to adhere it to my sign.
THAT IS ALL, folks!!!
I had to pair it with some cute little pumpkins I snagged at HomeGoods!
I LOVE the color scheme in this print!
Like I always say, never discount a piece just because it’s not your style! Can you believe I only have maybe $5 in this project?!? I would LOVE to know if this gave you some inspiration!

Yes I am inspired.! I never look at a picture like you do, and then to repurpose it, making it your own with another picture. I love the arched frame. I absolutely love this make over. The print you chose is so pretty. I bet the Mod Podge pumpkin you just made in the MVP class would look nice with this as well. I saw some beautiful floral printed canvas at JoAnn’s today. I need to keep an eye out for something like the arch frame that I could put it in.
