how to decorate a kitchen for christmas

My kitchen is not very big. In fact, it is what some would consider pretty small, actually. There isn’t a ton of cabinetry or storage, but I will tell you one thing…it is still one of my FAVORITE rooms in my house! It is just so dang cozy and cute, especially at Christmastime!

This year, I changed things up a bit and added some greenery to my cabinets, and I am LOVING how it turned out! I had always wanted to do this, I just never took the time!

The process was very easy and pretty much self explanatory, but I will give as many details as I can!

First, I simply got some little small wreaths from Hobby Lobby. They were $9.99/each and then 50% off that, so just $5.00 each!

Second, I took some skinnier red velvet ribbon and cut a long piece and then wrapped around the wreath and tied in a knot.

Once it was tied, I simply put it over the cabinet and pulled it until it was the right length and then taped the back side onto the back of the cabinet. SUPER easy!

The rest of the kitchen was just decorated with fun and festive decor that I love…mixing in a little more color than years past, especially pink 🙂

The little red nutcrackers are velvet type (not sure the exact kind but similar) from Walmart, and the cookie jar was from Homegoods!

This nutcracker was painted by the talented Mandy from MandyMade Designs right here in Mayfield, KY!

You can see all the details of this COFFEE BAR HERE!

I hope you enjoyed this little kitchen tour! It is feeling comfy and cozy and full of Christmas cheer!

Oh, you can even use an upside down small command strip hook on the inside of the cabinet. Love the simplicity of the look.

The classic looks are the best, you are proving that you don’t have to break the bank to have a beautiful Christmas.
