how to create a Christmas tree using fabric ornaments

If y’all know me very well at all, you KNOW I cannot resist stopping by the Target Dollar Spot every time I go! Did you see my furniture makeover using Target sticky tiles?? Last year I found these colorful fabric ornaments and I just had to grab them! I totally forgot about having them until I was unpacking my decorations this week and I couldn’t wait to start creating!! I think you are going to LOVE this cute and EASY sign!!!

Here is what I used:

  • 10 piece fabric ornament set from Target
  • Square wooden board
  • Premade velvet bow
  • Re-Fabbed branded hot glue gun
  • White paint
  • Re-Fabbed branded paintbrushes
I had this wood board that I’d picked up at Hobby Lobby and it made the perfect backdrop for the project!

First, I used some white paint and covered one side of fthe board so that it would have plenty of time to dry.

Next, I removed the ornaments from the package and took off the hangers.

After that, I arranged them on the board, then hot-glued them, starting with the bottom row and ending at the top!

I had this pre-made velvet bow in my craft stash and thought it was a perfect topper for my colorful tree!! With a little hot glue, she was good to go!!

I am literally obsessed with how this turned out!!! It is so stinkin’ cute and I love the fun and colorful vibe!!

These colors and this whimsical style are AMAZING!!!! It fits so perfectly in my decor! Let me know if you make this!!!!

Be sure to pin for later!
