dollar tree easter sign makeover

I have another new and easy makeover using a Dollar Tree “plus” Easter sign, and I think you are gonna really be inspired by the “glow up!” Not everything about it matches my decor or style, but I wanted to share it because I KNEW you would make it your own and within such a great budget! The sign was just $3.00! Are you ready to see what I did?!

You will need the following craft supplies:
Easter sign from Dollar Tree “Plus” section
Assorted spring flowers and stems
Thin ribbon – ½” width or smaller
Hot glue gun
Scissors

Let’s get started! First, let me tell you how much nicer this board is. This sign is not like the typical particle board signs you find in the Dollar Tree. This sign is a nice weight with a strong jute hanger.

The first thing I did was separate my floral stems and figure out my placement on the board. I wanted to incorporate different colors and lengths to add dimension.

Once I made my selections, I used the hot glue gun to secure the stems to the board.

To conceal the stems a little bit, I decided to glue some leaves at the bottom.

After gluing the flowers down, I wanted to add a little ribbon and a bow to the bunny. I glued a small piece of ribbon on the neck of the bunny, then I tied a little traditional bow with the same ribbon.

Glue the bow on the ribbon and ta-da! The sign is completely refreshed and colorful!

I think it looks so bright and full of Spring! It’s amazing what a few little additions will do for an existing décor piece! It just takes it to another level and looks more expensive.

What do you think? Be sure to PIN THIS for later!
