DIY Pumpkin Pallet Sign

You know me…Miss “Use a Pallet for Everything!” Well, why would I not? I mean, they are free everywhere you turn and they can make the coolest things!

There is no shortage of loose pallet boards in our storage right now because I love to use them for signs. I am sure my husband thinks I am half (or maybe fully) crazy when I make him keep all of this stuff. I am far from a hoarder when it comes to normal things, but when it comes to random, worn out pieces of junk or wood…I hold on for dear life.

My TV stand聽in my home needed something horizontal under it, so聽I went to storage and grabbed a pallet board and got creative. Since it is FALL, and I am more than excited…I wanted something with pumpkins. Didn’t know what…just wanted pumpkins.

Well, I googled “pumpkin coloring sheets” and found lots of images that I could print. Since a pallet board is not very large, I needed something rather small. I found the perfect size and printed that bad boy out. I decided that I would stencil several pumpkins onto some leftover vinyl that I had from my pantry makeover and put them on my pallet.

This picture is after I cut it out to use as my “stencil”. {Once again my nails are hideous, so I hid it for the picture! LOL}

DIY pumpkin pallet signs are easy and so cute for your fall decorating!

After cutting out my pumpkin, I laid it upside down onto my vinyl so that I could trace it.

I traced several at once and then cut them all out.

DIY Pallet Pumpkin Signs are a fun and easy fall craft that adds a cute, nontraditional style to your decor.

After cutting them out, I laid them onto my pallet board and used mod podge on the back of each pumpkin to adhere them to the board.

**NOTE**This board is one that I have used numerous times for different projects. It was a standard pallet board, and I used a white craft paint and chip brush to lightly color the board and give it a distressed look. You may remember this board from my SPRING sign and my FORK kitchen sign!**

The black polka dot strip is simply washi tape that I had on hand. I thought it added a good little extra flair and a divider between the pumpkins!
