Almost TOO Easy Deer Christmas Wreath

I don’t know about you, but in the past, when I thought about Christmas wreaths, I tended to think about fancy schmancy {totally not a “real” word!} wreaths with lots of ribbon, picks, ornaments, and a big ole bow. Don’t get me wrong, I still love those big “to do” wreaths too, but I feel like over time they have started circling back around to a more simpler state. I am a firm believer that sometimes, simple is simply better. Other times, I go all out. It just depends. But this year, my wreath on my front door is about as simple as it gets. I am calling it the “Almost TOO Easy Deer Christmas Wreath.”

In honor of pinning those gorgeous wreaths that you know you will never truly make, I thought I would share one that simply has 2 easy steps, yet to me, turned out to be one of my very favorites to date.

First of all, I got a large circular grapevine wreath from a local booth mall for nearly nothing. {If you check out your local thrift stores, booth malls, etc… you are very likely to find one for less than $5.00~I see them all the time.} Second, I found a beautiful sequined deer head ornament from At Home {my new FAVE decor store!}. Let me say this as a side note…my pocket book is very thankful that we do not have one of these stores within a 2 hour drive of my home! It is unreal the amount of awesomeness in that one store.

In this picture, I had already cut off the tag and the loop to hang on the tree. Isn’t he pretty??

The next step was to simply hot glue my deer head ornament onto my wreath. Ummm…is that all? Yes, it really is. It doesn’t get any easier than that! I am almost embarrassed to say that was all, but I told you it was literally almost too easy!

I love this last shot with my JOY pallet sign in the background. These are 2 of the easiest projects you can do!

Well, what do you think? It is definitely about the easiest and simplest wreaths you will see out there this holiday season, but perhaps it is also one that you will actually DO! I can picture lots of possibilities with this one using all sorts of large holiday ornaments! One and done folks, that is all!

Pin for Later!

I love this Brooke – as you say so simple but perfect. Love the glitter and it looks brilliant against your JOY pallet sign. You have some great ideas 🙂

Can’t find the deer head. Looked on In Home and they didn’t have it. I really like this wreath and wanted to make one. I have the wreath. Thanks for sharing.
